Head of Logistics and Transformation - Nigeria

A world famous consumer goods companies was seeking a Head of Logistical Transformation who would be responsible for a corporate change program covering their warehousing, distribution and fleet operations. This includes a fleet of over 700 trucks, 13 plants and 70 warehouses across Nigeria.

The successful candidate would be responsible for devising the business plan and re-modeling the entire logistical operations. The company identified Nigeria as a strategic growth market and the ideal candidate would have to successfully lead the transformation of these key areas in response to growth and demand. 

Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in logistics were required as this person would be responsible for driving change, improving processes and influencing key stakeholders both internally and in distributors. The position calls for strong analytical & evaluation skills to recognize where changes needed to be made and support the Director in driving these changes forward. The ideal candidate needed to have a proven track record in improving processes in order to increase efficiency across multiple functions.
