My client is a market leader in education management looking for a Head of Strategy and Business Growth (location in Amsterdam or Paris). The project took 3 months from the initial job description to the chosen candidate signing the contract. The short list was provided in 10 days and included the final chosen candidate.
Reporting to the Managing Director for EMEA, with 10 direct reports and working closely with the global organization located in the US, this was a high visibility position with the opportunity to have long-term career development and a significant impact on the business.
The company is part of an organization offering B2B, B2C and B2G education services in over 200 countries. As a result of a clearly defined road map, investment, and a digital transformation, the company has continued its rapid expansion across EMEA over the past two years.
As a result, they were recruiting a Head of Strategy and Business Growth with a proven track record in business development to create a clearly defined long term strategy for EMEA. This person needed to create a unified approach and oversee business planning for each country and region in close collaboration with Country and Regional Managers.
The right person needed to have in depth knowledge of the education sector, ability to work strategically in a fast paced environment with a creative mindset and innovate new business models whilst managing a diverse international sales team.
