A globally recognized supply chain and logistics company was seeking a Global Marketing Director for their Engineering and Manufacturing industry vertical.
The role focused on the company’s largest and most prestigious clients (all of them global household name industrial manufacturing firms), with the objective of widening and deepening their engagement, as well as increasing brand awareness in the industry sector in general.
As this was a relatively new role for the firm, there was a huge scope for creativity, strategic thinking and also enormous potential for growth. The company is a global market leader in their industry, and required someone with a strong corporate or B2B marketing background to showcase their talents. The position reported directly to the Global VP of Marketing and Sales, and interacted with senior stakeholders around the world.
This required someone who was highly motivated and strategic, with experience managing media and PR agencies, creating and executing commercial strategies, and working cross functionally with different divisions to align best business practices.
