Country Human Resources Director - France
We were working with one of the world's most recognized American companies seeking a Country Human Resources Director to continue their transformation. This was a high visibility role as France is their third strongest global market with over 700 million in sales.
Based in Paris and reporting to the Managing Director, this position had 7 direct reports and an employee population of approximately 4,000.
The HRD would be responsible for business partnering with senior management on all HR related functions with a particular focus on growth (including employer branding and recruitment), productivity, change management, career path definition and HR transformation.
The ideal candidate had to be diplomatic, empathetic, energetic, and a communicative leader, with experience in leading and participating in all HR functions. Experience working with French work councils was essential. Finally, this person had to have a demonstrated track record in employee development and talent management.
Although there is a dedicated specialist, this person should also have experience working with and negotiating with works councils.
