Client working in e-learning was searching for a Managing Director in the UK to lead their business development and capture market share in a competitive industry.

My client has enjoyed rapid growth over the past few years by increasing their digital presence and offering innovative services to B2C, B2B and B2G clients in over 200 countries. The UK was been identified as a strategic market with significant potential for expansion. As a result, they were recruiting a Managing Director with a proven track record in business development to establish a UK subsidiary and aggressively pursue their growth objectives.

Reporting directly into the Board of Directors and working closely with colleagues across the globe, this was a high visibility position with the opportunity to have a significant impact on the business.

The right candidate had to demonstrate a track record building long-term relationships, specifically in B2G and B2B. Furthermore, the person needed to be entrepreneurial, autonomous, and focused on customer service.

The process took 4 months from the initial discussion with Phelps Sabio until an accepted offer.
