Reporting to the CEO with 6 direct reports, the Head of Internal Audit was a critical position for the company’s transformation objectives.
As an overall strategy to stay competitive, modernize, and increase efficiency by redefining cross-functional business practices, the Head of Internal Audit was tasked with creating a strategic 3-5 year audit plan.
In addition to effectively identifying regulatory, operational and IT risk; this person needed to inspire, motivate and lead a diverse team, create pragmatic solutions, and influence the business. The right individual had to demonstrate a proven track record of simplifying complex problems, analyzing areas of improvement, and clearly communicating change at all levels. As a result, this person had to be innovative, forward thinking and diplomatic.
